In a new interview with "The Hollywood Reporter" magazine, Zendaya opened up about what she
would like to see in the new season of her HBO series, "Euphoria." The 25-year-old actress, who plays the protagonist Rue Bennett, shared her desire to see a time jump in the third season.
"I think it will be exciting to explore the characters outside of high school. I want to see what
Rue looks like on her journey of sobriety, how chaotic that can look. I wanted to see that with all the characters, in the
sense that they are trying to figure out what to do with their lives when high school is over and what kind of people they want to be," she said.
The actress confesses that she enjoyed the deep 'dive' into her character and the others in the second season:
"What was special about this season was that we were able to dive [into the other characters] in a much deeper sense. I think we can do that again with season three.
There's so much talent, you want to make sure that everybody gets a chance to have that," he said.
But the drama's third season will still be a while in coming. It should premiere only in 2023.
"Euphoria" is about a group of high school teenagers trying to deal with their own problems and conflicts, drugs, sex and violence.
