Xolo Maridueña is very excited about "Blue Beetle," DC's first film for a Latino superhero.
The actor, who didn't have to take any tests to get the role, is becoming a
big proponent of the originality of this character. In an interview with
The Hollywood Reporter, Xolo said that Blue Beetle is very different from other superheroes.
"A lot of superheroes have alter egos, nicknames and personas. They have a life where they are Spider-Man or Batman and
then they go home and they are Bruce Wayne or whoever. They are constantly hiding their identity.
But this character lives with his family and there is no way to hide who he is.
From the first moment he gets his powers, his family knows. That's different," says Xolo Maridueña.
