Robber blames Kim Kardashian for jewelry theft

One of the robbers who stole Kim Kardashian's jewelry from a Paris hotel in 2016 spoke about the crime to Vice magazine.

In a video, Yunis Abbas, who spent nearly two years in prison after taking approximately

$10 million in jewelry, blamed the Kardashian clan's businesswoman for the crime.

"Since she was throwing money away, I was there to collect it, and that was that. Guilty? No, I don't care," he said

adding, "They should be a little less flashy with people who are not in the same condition.

For some people it comes across as provocation," he pointed out about celebrities flaunting their wealth on social media.

In mid-2016 Kim Kardashian was in the spotlight when she revealed that she was robbed inside

the hotel room where she was staying in Paris, being tied up and put in the bathtub.

At the time, the criminals took jewelry worth US$10 million - the equivalent, currently

of approximately $51.6 million - including the 20-carat engagement ring, valued at US$4 million given to her by Kanye West.
