Pete Davidson's family has been "celebrating" since news broke that his relationship

with Kim Kardashian has come to an end, according to OK! Magazine. The source revealed that the Big Time Adolescence

actor's mother and sister "really hated Kim and that "his mother really put her foot down" about the romance.

Previously, it was reported by us that the comedian, 28, and the 41-year-old Skims founder ended their relationship after

9 months together. A source told E! News that Kardashian and Davidson decided to end their relationship because their

hectic schedules "made it too difficult to maintain a union." The source close to them also

said that the exes have "a lot of love and respect for each other" and despite the breakup, the pair would remain friends.

The pair began dating sometime after Kardashian appeared on SNL in October 2019. The lawyer later spoke about the headline

romance on The Kardashians. Lawyer said on the show, "So that's how it happened with Pete. I did SNL, and then

when we kissed in the scene, it was just a vibe. And I was like, 'Oh, (cuss). Maybe I just need to try something different!'"

"But Pete didn't come to my party - everybody was at my party - and he didn't give any justification, so a few days later, I called

the SNL producer and said, 'Hey, do you have Pete's number? And they were like, 'Yeah,'" she continued. Kardashian revealed

that she texted Davidson even though she wasn't thinking of anything serious with him and just wanted a physical romance, but it turned into a serious relationship afterwards.
