Millie Bobby Brown has spoken out about her relationship with the internet in

a conversation with Allure. The actress, who is on the cover of the magazine for September, explained the

reason for not having social networks installed on her phone and said that her team manages her official accounts.

"It's very hard to be hated when you don't know who you are yet. So it's kind of like, 'What do they hate about me? Because I don't know who I am.'"

explained Millie when addressing the negative comments, threats and inappropriate content she has been receiving for years.

She revealed that she went to therapy to try to deal with the virtual bullying, but that it was hard to escape.

The actress also emphasized that this situation made her try to change her ways

but that it was no use, since they always found something new to criticize.
