Mick Jagger pays tribute to Charlie Watts after 1 year of his death

A year after the death of iconic drummer Charlie Watts, Mick Jagger

has paid a new tribute to his bandmate in the Rolling Stones

NME reports. Watts died at the age of 80 on August 24

2021. The group has since returned to the stage 

Steve Jordan has joined as the new drummer.

The band members have spoken out about the loss of the musician several 

times, including the lead singer. Jagger said in May, "I miss 

him as a musician and as a friend." On Wednesday, 24, the singer shared 

images of Watts over the years. Soundtracked by "Till The Next 

Goodbye," the post features narration from the Rolling Stones frontman.
