It has become quite common to see directors taking on projects at both Marvel and DC. Such has been the case with James Gunn, who has

shone with the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise and also with Suicide Squad. As well as its spin-off, the super successful Peacemaker series.

Also joining this hall of DCnauts/Marvets directors is the duo Billal Fallah and Adil El Arbi! They took over

some episodes of the Ms. Marvel series, and were also working on the Batgirl movie.

Which, unfortunately, was cancelled by Warner Discovery in the last few days. Generating a storm of

criticism from all pop culture fans, who were not at all pleased with the coldness and unfairness of the studio's decision.

This afternoon, El Arbi shared in the stories of his Instagram an email received from Kevin Feige. Congratulating the director on his marriage, and at the

same time lamenting the sad shelving of the film: "My friends, I had to come to you and let you know that we are

all thinking of you two. Because of the wonderful news about the wedding (congratulations!) and the disappointing news about Batgirl.

We are so proud of you for all the amazing work that you do. And particularly for Ms. Marvel, of course! I can't wait to see what the next step is for you guys. Hope to see you soon."
