Loki has been one of the great successes of this new phase of Marvel's Cinematic Universe, being, for

example, the most watched series of the studio within Disney+, surpassing other successes such as WandaVision.

With a script by Michael Waldron, who later wrote Doctor Strange in the Madness Multiverse, and direction

by Kate Herron, Loki stood out for involving the God of Lies in a totally surprising plot for fans.

And as we know, Loki became the first and only Marvel series to be renewed for a second season, which

ended up changing basically its entire team, which now has Eric Martin as the new head writer and the duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (Moon Knight) as the new directors.

The filming of the second season has been going on since June, and its premiere is expected in the middle of 2023, a premiere that was given by

Marvel itself during the San Diego Comic-Con.And according to Greatphase, a source that has already made it right, the new season will feature

the introduction of the Ultimate Squadron, a group that was already expected for the first season but ended up not rolling out.

In the comics, Squadron Supreme belongs to Earth-712, a reality where the Avengers do not exist. The powerful group

of heroes was once dubbed the "Justice League of Marvel". No word yet on what role these heroes may play in Loki season 2.
