American socialite Kim Kardashian has just added "billionaire" to her resume.

The cosmetics entrepreneur, who started her career with the reality show "Keeping

Up with The Kardashians", was included on Tuesday for the first time in the list of the world's billionaires by Forbes magazine.

Forbes estimates that Kardashian, 40, "now totals $1 billion, up from $780 million in October, thanks to two

profitable companies-KKW and Skims-in addition to money from the reality show and sponsorship deals, and a host of smaller investments."

The magazine's estimate means that Kardashian joins her soon-to-be ex-husband Kanye West in the billionaires' club.

The magazine estimated on Tuesday that West's net worth amounts to $1.8 billion, mostly coming from deals with his Yeezy sneaker and clothing brand.

Kardashian filed for divorce from West, 43, in February, citing irreconcilable differences.

The businesswoman's half-sister, Kylie Jenner, however, has lost her billionaire status, Forbes announced

Tuesday. The magazine valued the 23-year-old model's fortune at $700 million, citing a difficult year for cosmetics sales during the coronavirus pandemic

Kardashian founded KKW Beauty in 2017, promoting and selling the products online, aided by a social media

presence that includes 213 million followers on Instagram. The socialite launched the Skims line of multi-colored shaping girdles in 2019.
