Kim Kardashian has shared that her 7-pound weight loss to fit into Marilyn Monroe's iconic gown at the 2022 Met Gala came at a high price.

The businesswoman, who usually eats a plant-based diet, revealed that because she was consuming meat in

her effort to lose weight quickly, her body had a "psoriasis outbreak" that led to psoriatic arthritis.

"The psoriasis spread through my body and I had psoriatic arthritis, so I couldn't move my hands. I was freaking out," she said in an interview with Allure.

Despite suffering from the painful condition, Kim defended her diet and commented that she did "nothing harmful"

and that "cutting out meat" solved the problem and helped her recovery: "I stopped eating meat again and it calmed down.

Kim Kardashian said that, in addition to dieting, sauna and running twice a day also helped her lose weight.

It is worth noting that Kim Kardashian revealed about having psoriasis in 2019, where she shared a

variety of photos of her having bouts of psoriasis. The socialite shared that she first had the disease in

her twenties, but it came back with more force in her 30s.
