Unlike what was initially reported by the British press, Kate Middleton did not accompany Prince William
to Scotland, amid the climate of apprehension about Queen Elizabeth II's health.
In a statement, Kensington Palace said that "the Duchess of Cambridge has remained in
Windsor while Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are on their first day at their new school.
According to the Daily Mail, a jet carrying seven members of the royal family has already posed in Scotland.
Prince Andrew, as well as Edward and Sophie, are said to be on the jet that landed at Aberdeen airport, the nearest airport to Balmoral.
A spokesman for Buckingham Palace said on Thursday morning that Queen Elizabeth is under medical
supervision. Her Majesty is spending her vacations at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Family
members, such as her children and grandchildren, have been called to the sovereign's
estate. Since October 2021, the all-powerful Briton has been facing health problems.
