John Travolta, who starred in the film "Grease" (1978) alongside Olivia Newton-John, paid tribute

to the actress in a publication on social networks. Olivia died this morning in California (USA) at the age of 73.

"My dear Olivia, you made our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. In the future

we will see each other and we will all be together again. I have been yours from the first moment I saw 

you and forever! Your Danny, your John," wrote the actor, referring to his character Danny Zuko

the romantic partner of Olivia's character Sandy Olsson in the classic feature film.

Olivia Newton-John became a worldwide success after playing Sandy Olsson in "Grease" alongside

Travolta in 1978. The musical was the second most profitable film of 

that year, behind only "Superman," and featured the hits "You're the One that I Want," "Summer Nights," and "Hopelessly Devoted to You.
