After the confirmation of the second season of The House of the Dragon (House of the Dragon, original title), rumors of

Elizabeth Olsen and Henry Cavill's participation in the cast began circulating among fans

of the Game of Thrones spin-off set in the universe created by George R.R. Martin.

The series, which was one of HBO Max's most anticipated releases, has its episodes made available every Sunday in the

streaming catalog and is scheduled to close its first season at the end of October 2022.

The spin-off explores the history of House Targaryen 200 years before the events seen

in Game of Thrones and has already brought episodes with major twists and turns.

For the second season, however, the rumors about Olsen and Cavill revolve around some characters already

mentioned in the Westeros universe. Industry insider Daniel Richtman, according to the

website We Got This Covered, stated that they are negotiating to portray Aegon Targaryen and a red priestess.
