Rockstar Games isn't revealing much about Grand Theft Auto 6 beyond the fact that it's in development, but

previous leaks have potentially helped fill in the gaps. Reliable leakers have

made all sorts of claims about the game, saying that the next GTA franchise

will be set in Vice City and will likely feature two protagonists, a man and a woman.

We reported just last month that sources close to the game's production have identified that the protagonist

will be a Latina woman. As part of a report on Rockstar from Bloomberg, the source revealed that the character

will be part of a pair of bank robbers in a story influenced by the real-life criminals Bonnie & Clyde. And now, the new protagonist has been confirmed along with new details.

Now, another detail about the development has been slowly revealed. At the most recent investor

conference, Take Two revealed several details about the future, besides of course the usual sales figures of their games that are on the market.

"Development is well underway, they (Rockstar) are determined to establish and be the creative references for the series, industry and entertainment."

In other words, Rockstar Games is committed to making the entertainment product that will be a benchmark for upcoming games and

industry in general. This is a very big ambition, however, the production company believes it is capable. Similarly, the development

of GTA 6 was confirmed by Rockstar Games in February 2022, later they updated fans stating that they will decrease support for other titles to focus on the next Grand Theft Auto.
