Ezra Miller apologized to audience for "past behavior" in rare statement to Variety after controversy.

The Flash character in the DC movies has revealed complex mental disorders.

In recent months, Miller has been accused of theft and fights in different US countries and states. Check out a statement sent by a representative:

I have gone through a period of intense crisis. I now understand that I am suffering from complex mental

disorders and have begun treatment. I want to apologize to everyone I have disappointed by my past behavior.

I will do the work necessary to get back to a safe, productive, and healthy stage in my life.

Ezra's treatment is part of one of the alternatives Warner has found to move forward with the release of The Flash.

According to the website The Hollywood Reporter, if the recovery happens in time, he will participate in the release.

The second option, however, would be not to include him in the film's release, and later replace him in future projects.

The last alternative for Warner would be to discard The Flash altogether should Ezra Miller's situation worsen to the point that it becomes untenable.

Reshoots are not a possibility, since the actor plays the character in several versions in the DC Universe. Discarding it would be a huge financial loss for the studio.
