Euphoria Barbie Ferreira on alleged rivalry with Sam Levinson

Barbie Ferreira visibly had a watered-down plot and very few lines of dialogue in the second season of "Euphoria,"

which fans attribute to being the result of an alleged fight with director Sam Levinson.

In the February cover story The Cut featuring all the leading ladies of "Euphoria," Ferreira was

asked about reports that she argued with Levinson on set about her character's reduced presence. "Kat's journey this season

is a little more internal and a little more mysterious to the audience. She's secretly going through

a lot of existential crises. She loses her mind a little bit - just like everyone else this season," she said in response.

A few days after The Cut's article, The Daily Beast said that production sources confirmed

that Ferreira left the set at least twice and that a sex scene she filmed was cut from the final version.

In January, the 25-year-old model also failed to attend the premiere of the second season of "Euphoria," adding to the rumors.

Ferreira addressed the alleged friction on set in a new interview with Intern on March 3. "I've seen so many different things, and a lot of them

are false, and some of them are like little mundane things," she said. "Sometimes things take on a life of their own and aren't rooted in

truth, but that's okay because I know it's just out of passion and curiosity and all that good stuff."

Hopefully fans of "Euphoria" will see more of Ferreira's character, Kat, in the third season of the HBO teen drama.
