Elon Musk subpoenas former Twitter CEO (TWTR34) to share information

Tesla (TSLA34) entrepreneur and CEO Elon Musk has subpoenaed

former Twitter (TWTR34) CEO Jack Dorsey to

provide information that could help him close the deal to buy the social network for $44 billion.

Elon Musk is currently being sued by Twitter after he said he would buy

the network and then, a few weeks later, claimed contractual issues to refuse the deal, signed in April.

Both parties are expected to go to court in the United

States as early as mid-October, the month in which the trial is scheduled to begin.

The documents released on Monday (22) show that Jack Dorsey received a

court order asking him to hand Elon Musk communications or

documents related to the Twitter purchase agreement.
