Elon Musk says global warming is a minor problem

Billionaire Elon Musk, owner of Tesla, SpaceX and father of ten children, took to Twitter this Friday

(26) to express again his concern about a possible population crisis that, for him, would be even more urgent than

the problems of global warming. He rectifies that he considers environmental issues of great importance, but the population issue is what seems to be really keeping him up at night.

This manifestation comes after South Korea and Japan recently released data about the drop in the fertility rate of these countries.

In the case of Korea, there has been a record drop, now suggesting that South Korean women will have an average of 0.81 children in their lifetime, down from an expected 0.84 in 2020.

In the case of Japan, however, what was surprising was the drop in waiting lists for admissions to Tokyo

In response to the followers, Musk hinted that having children is the only solution to the problem, while the pessimism of 

people in the world would be one of the major factors influencing the decision not to have children.
