Rock's statement was made last Saturday during his O2 Arena performance in London

according to Deadline magazine, which had representatives on site.

According to the magazine, Chris Rock dedicated part of his show to talking about Will Smith

and the nearly 6-minute video named "It's been a minute..." posted on the Oscar-winning actor's official YouTube channel.

In his performance, Rock reportedly said "f*** your hostage video," in response to the

apology video, posted by Smith in July. This is the first time the comedian has commented publicly on the video in question.

During previous performances, Rock has made other comments about the slap he took from Smith during

the 2022 Academy Awards ceremony. "Yeah, that m**** hurt. He played the role of Ali. I can't even play Floyd Mayweather."

In addition, Rock referred to Will Smith as "Suge Smith," in reference to former Death Row

Records music executive Suge Knight, who is serving a 28-year jail sentence for murder.
