This Friday, the K-Pop group BLACKPINK had another career achievement.
Their YouTube channel became the most followed channel of a music artist
on the platform, surpassing Justin Bieber. They now have over 65.4 million followers.
The channel was created in June 2016, just before BLACKPINK's debut in August of the same year.
They had been the second most followed channel since September
2020 and reach the top on the same day that Lisa, one of the members, makes her solo debut.
"We can't believe it. It is an achievement made by the BLINKs.
We want to share this honor with our fans around the world who
love and support us," the group said in a statement, according to Soompi.
