Billie Eilish had to defend herself on social media following rumors that she called Cardi B 'weird' at her own Met Gala party.

The speculation began after a video went viral on social media that appears to actually show Billie calling Cardi 'weird'.

The 20-year-old singer was one of many celebrities present at the party Cardi threw with Playboy and The Standard on Monday night (May 2) at the "Boom Boom Room" in New York City.

Billie was so concerned by what she saw that she sent Cardi a voice message on Instagram, which the rapper shared with her fans on Twitter.

In the voice message, Billie Eilish explained herself, "Oh my God, I was so worried that you were going to see this.

I was calling people around you weird because everybody was coming up to you, sticking their phones up your ass. And I was like, 'Just look at it with your eyes!

I was calling people around you weird because everybody was coming up to you, sticking their phones up your ass. And I was like, 'Just look at it with your eyes!

Cardi tweeted: "I hate the internet because 1) how do you turn one of the most illuminating parties into drama?, 2) '

Ocean Eyes' is the song I sing to my daughter. 3) Billie is my baby. Yesterday, from the Met to the party, everything was drama-free. Why do you want to turn everything into a mess?
